Hi there!
Having several bags (a Shopper from Tod's in ivory and a penelope by longchamps) i find myself carrying one bag around all day, that i don't even like that much. It is a Tod's hobo bag, old, medium sized in camel. But: first - it is really old and not looking good anymore. Second - i really am more into black, blue or pink. The camel color doesn't really fit to my wardrobe. Third - actually I do not like the look of Hobobags, they are too slouchy for me. But the current Hobobag made its point: I can carry anything, from groceryshopping to water bottle, sports equipment.... and it never hurts my shoulder or back.
Soo the search for a replacement begins. Currently I am considering a Coach Rogue (which may be too big) or a MCM Essentials Leather Tote (which seems to be on the too heavy side) and I also like this fossil harper Style (but I would like something more chic)
To summarize: i am looking for an everyday bag, that should be big but not too big and should have a shoulder strap.

I would be happy, if anyone had a suggestion!
cheers!

Rebecca Minkoff Cupid? It's not very large. The older ones have a nice large zipper on the back outside wall plus a compartment on the front. It has handles that fit on shoulder plus optional long strap.
Also has some smaller zipped compartments on the side that I've never used.

Thank you both for your answers. Tano Bags look really nice although they seem to only ship inside the US. Rebecca Minkhoff was also on my watchlist, so thank you!! But: I guess, I found what I was looking for: the Coach bedford hobo Looks perfect. I just have to wait until it is available in my Country.
