Looking at a new grey bag. .....

I know I am in the coach forum lol but am between these two. What ya thinking ?

The MK looks a lot like the Coach Kelsey or the Prairie. I like that shape.

I don't care for greys that run towards brown, which the MK appears to be in that picture - more of a taupe. I think the Edie is a better grey and the leather looks nicer.

These are completely different styles. The MK is a satchel and the Edie is a shoulder bag. I prefer shoulder bags. I think they are more comfortable to carry. I also think the Edie has more style, more detail.

Is that the Edie 42? Do you have a preference for shoulder bag or hand carry? I like the mixed leather on the Edie but find the shoulder strap drop is not long enough for me. The MK Riley is simple and classic. Not much help. Have you seen and tried these on in person?

I have owned both styles and liked both which makes it so hard ! Lol

I find Edies so bulky, but slouchy bags like that are not my jam. I definitely would recommend checking them out in person. These are more my jam but I am returning the Page (and did not buy the Courier even though I love it).

The MK looks a lot like other past Coach bags so I'd go with the Edie as long as you like 3 compartment bags.

I personally prefer coach over MK, from brand image perspective. MK has copied so many bag shape (design) from other high end brands. This MK bag reminds me a LV bag, while coach still looks like coach, it keeps it's originality.
