Looking after a Speedy any products?

Hi LV lovers

I have a DE speedy and wanted to give it some love.

I have a bottle of leather honey but I dont think this is ok to use. The YouTube videos I have watched seem to use Apple Guard and I have also seen scary videos of LV items ruined by a protectant.

Advice very welcome

I don’t treat my damier ebene bags, they are very care free.

Thanks so much most of my reading has said use a non-alcohol based wet wipe at best but some suggest amourall or similar. Too nervous to do that I think

I live in a rainy state. I treat any leather on a LV piece with AppleGuard, including my DE pieces.

You don't need to use anything on DE. In fact, LV recommends not using any leather care products on vachetta either. That's personal preference, of course. I don't treat my bags and I've never had any issues, but certainly I wouldn't consider using anything on DE. The leather is treated already and it's very durable and resistant to water, stains etc. Just relax and enjoy your bag!

As for cleaning, I only use alcohol-free wipes and these work great for me.
