IDK! At first glance it sounds fishy to me too but then people are starting to shop for V-Day gifts. Maybe someone really really really wants this beauty case for their sweetie to complete their collection.
I was watching a bag on ebay that is the same as one i am selling, well, the D&B was originally 245, it was bid up to $610.00

So this is called shill bidding? I had this happen to me once. My current bid was at $50 when 2 hours before the auction ended it when up to $110. It was the same bidder, they bid on the item 8 times. They had been a member for 4 years and had 0 feedback.
