I tell myself that I'll get a custom LP travel bag with LH when my 2724 finally wears out (which is so unlikely given that the corners can be resewn). I've brought it everywhere but it is still holding up so well

I don't think your 2724 is ever going to be so frayed that it'll be completely unusable and you'll be stuck with it forever. Then again, Christmas is only a few weeks away...have you been good this year?

For Christmas, I am going to remain naughty and go for the Fou WOC instead. Since I have 2724, expandable travel, LLH Planetes + 1899, I feel my travel totes are well covered.

I have the expandable which I love as it is so huge. I also carry the Neo in size medium. I love that it can be worn crossbody when I travel.

By the way, sometimes my Longchamp expandable gets heavy, so I use this strap pad as a cushion. I love it, and it makes the big bag so comfy for travel. It’s now always attached to my expandable bag which I use for travel. You just attach it to the Longchamp strap via a Velcro closure. Very easy.
