I have two Longchamp Neo bags. One (gris, made in Romania) was bought from an authorized reseller at the mall in 2016 and the other one (black, Made in China) I just got from a friend who told me she bought during her trip to France.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed here before but have not found a thread on it and some of you might think this belongs to the Authentication Thread (I posted there already) - if this is the case, my apologies. I have been doing a lot of research on LC Neos and done an actual major comparison this morning and finding out that there are A LOT of differences really got me confused. Thought it'd be interesting to discuss with LC enthusiasts. I'm fairly new to this brand tbh.
I really don't want to discredit my friend so I'm hoping that this is just an issue with where the bags were made and it very well could be. Plus, I didn't exactly paid cheap for it. I found some blog posts on Le Pliage made in China VS made in Eu but none on Neo. Pls note though that the grey one has already been used while the black one is new.
Some other diff I noticed which may not show or may not be obvious in the pics posted:
Black - the made in China tags is positioned or located a bit higher up (a few inches below the zip
Grey - the made in romania tag is located almost in the middle of the interior lining
Black - the material on the interior lining where there are stitches and where the MIC is attached looks like leather or a diff type of material -not the same as the fabric. I don't know how to describe it but pls have a closer look at pics 2&3
Black - interior pocket stitching is slightly different to the grey one
