Longchamp is showing its fall 2019 collection in New York, according to a preliminary schedule released Tuesday night by The Council of Fashion Designers of America.

“French accessories house Longchamp, which staged its first New York show last September in tandem with its 70th anniversary celebrations, is returning to the calendar with a 3:00 p.m. slot on Saturday, Feb. 9,” WWD reported.

The part that gives me hope is “modern simplicity,” because Spring 2019 was neither modern (60’s-70’s throwback) or simple (overdone fringe and embellishments). What makes me nervous is how far they’ll take this LGP logo.

I really hope that LC keeps it simple with the logo. Done right, it will be artistically abstract and interesting.
