Thank you all for your lovely comments. Didn't know how this post poped up again. Haven't been using it for a while, it's not because of the colour, I think I still prefer the standard leather which are a lot lighter. One thing I love about bal is how light the bag is. Also, this one doesn't slouch much at all, I don't like bal to stay in structure : (

the more you use it the more it will soften. i have one bag with newer leather and it does soften, but you have to use it often and hold it and etc. to get that going. not nearly as soft as older Bal leathers, but the bag will soften for you. it's so beautiful!
