Long strap for Tuesday reveal?

Hello everyone. Bought from what you call evilbay but this is a lovely bag which came to me today. Just want to ask can I purchase a long messenger strap in oak for her---as I think she could be quite versatile?
I tried the strap from my Mitzy messenger ,which is brown,without the dog clip strap attached,and that sort of worked.

Here she is ...no white box with this one tho

I'm not sure if Mulberry sell just straps anymore, you could try picking up a cheap used oak messenger like Seth which will have a detachable strap.
