Long locked purse: how are they holding up?

As other threads on this purse are quite old, I was wondering this; how good are these purses, does the lock stay good?

Ant other thoughts on this type? Love the look, is it also practical? Tia!

It is ! I use it every day since nearly 3 years now and it is in very good condition and the lock is still great. Love all the compartments and the easy access - BUT....this purse is heavy and big...bare that in mind - even if it is really, really beautiful. It ages so nicely - I never treated it with anything and the leather is soft and smooth and got "richer" - a bit darker from the corners towards the middle...-love it !IMG_0879.jpg

Ik does look great! How heavy?? As an add on in a Bayswater....

Well, I have some time to think about it as the presale isn't for anyone outside the UK! Must wait for the real sale...also extra time to make up my mind: taupe or oxblood..

My Oak LLP is 11 years old and used daily . I'll take a pic in the morning .
ETA - it is Darwin leather and there's no comparison to the modern leathers so not really comparing like-for-like
