I'm not asking for myself since since I neither sell nor buy on ebay but someone (on another forum I frequent) mentioned this as the reason her seller gave her for not shipping her item not right away.

thats what I said. I don't know this person well enough to side email her to tell her such but at the same time I don't want to come off as a know it all because well...I don't know it all when it comes to ebay.

"It is an option. I checked the listing and it was on a 15 day "buy it now". I'm guessing that means the listing is up for 15 days or until someone buys it? That's what I assumed anyway. I really need to get on top of learning my way around ebay."

I've asked her to c&p the listing. its not a handbag related purchase but tPF is my go to source for ebay issues...even if I'm not directly involved
