I'm a newbie here, I might not have looked through enough, but can anyone give me some tips about London Birkin and Kelly bag re-sellers? I'm looking for a Hermes bag for my mom's birthday and am rather new to all this, the only name I've been recommended so far is LilacBlue.com, I haven't spoken to them yet though.

lilac blue are sooo expensive, eg £8K for a 40 Kelly, £17K chevre Birkin, totally not worth it IMO and have no form.

I would go to Hermes and buy, or if you are looking for cost effective, wait for artcurial or other French auctions and have it shipped.

Non Birkins and Kellys H bags can be bought fairly easily from Hermes, a Lindy or a Bolide would be lovely for your mother's birthday, it just depends on her style. You could ring an SA beforehand to check stock and tell her your plan, make a day of it and take your mother along to choose.

Anywhere in the EU is fine for the UK for not incurring extra taxes but sometimes you can get a bagain from a US reseller and the tax will not be too exorbitant.
