Hi all. I will be visiting London and I have been granted one day for shopping excursions. Please plan a day of shopping for me! I'd like to go to the various Hermes boutiques. And I'd like to do a little antiquing/ vintage clothes shopping and hit a fun market. I'd love to find a hidden gem like a vintage Hermes bag! Suggestions anyone?

Hello, you can find Hermes in Harrods, Selfridges (great clic clac stock, in June I bought there a beautiful clic clac large black on black), in Bond street boutique, in Sloane Street boutique and at Royal Exchange (exit Bank underground) extremely nice SA. There is also a reseller near Harrods in 6 Cheval Place, it is called Salou (you can find also kelly and birkin) I went there just to give a look and they have a couple of very interesting kelly but I didn't buy because I'm not an expert about the H bags authenticity so I prefer to buy in H boutiques the bags. If you need any other information just ask!Hope it helps!

H selfridges and bond st are within walking distance of each other (bond st tube station)
H harrods and sloane st are also within walking of each other (knightsbridge station)
H royal exchange is only open mon-fri
H sloane st and bond st are not open on sunday.
H selfridges and harrods are open mon-sun.
don't know any vintage hermes stores but suggest camden market (camden station) or spitalfields market (liverpool st station) for antique/vintage clothes shops.

HTH. happy shopping..

I'd add Liberty's to the list. I think it's England's oldest department store and it's fairly amazing. I've been told Liberty's scarves are on a par with Hermes, but I'm not a silks expert. Frankly, it's worth going to for a ride in the lift alone. It's not far from New Bond store and Selfridges.

Oh, Fortnum and Mason is fun too. It's where the Queen gets her groceries. I guess the first floro is basically a posh supermarket The upper levels are lovely too though, and they do homewear, clothes, etc.

There's a really cool arcade on South Molton lane just of Bond Street, they have some designer vintage stands in there, spitalfieds market is a must go to too! All the other suggestions here are great as well!

For a garden party it should be fairly easy, Harrods and Royal Exchange usually have at least one on display everytime I pop in. For a kelly I think it might be a bit tougher though... Good luck!

This is terrible. Apparently only garden party bags in canvas are available. I ordered one off the UK website although I'm not a citizen to be delivered to a UK address. Hermes just got back to me seeing they had to cancel my order.
Any idea if heathrow stocks them?
