I'm a background actor and recently got to work with the amazing 94 year old Lois Smith! You think you've never seen a Lois movie or tv show? Oh honey, you have. I'm pleased to say she's as sweet as candy, still so professional, AND I've never worked so few hours on a set before because she nailed every single take! I'm hoping I make it into this movie because I'm still on a high from meeting her! You're never supposed to go up to the main talent but it was a very small set and my friends were the PA's so I took a chance, told her I'm a huge admirer of hers and that I'm honored to be her background. She teared up, grasped my hand and thanked me very warmly! LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!! (And ps, her first role was opposite James Dean in East of Eden!! ICON 100%!!) I just had to share.
