When I went into the Loewe store to check on the new Loewe x HMC collection, I fell in love with sunglasses I tried while waiting for my SA!

I actually saw them beforehand on a TikTok video, but didn‘t expect them to be so cool in person, so I wanted to show you, because I totally love those!

They are called inflated mask sunglasses and it came with a great dark blue leather case with clip! There was another more cateye type of model, which did not suit me. But this one? Fab…!

Anybody else have sunglasses by Loewe?

Thank you Addy! I love that they come with a leather case, so much nicer than the hardcover cases which sometimes are huge (whoever designs those obviously is not a woman who needs to squish that case into a small handbag...)... This one is as slim as it can be and thoughtfully designed with the hock for click it on your bag!

^^^ Yup! I actually bought just the case from a reseller because it was slim and stylish. I wear prescription so these fab sunnies are not for me. But I love them!

Ohhh I love these, I think they might be more wearable for me than the lips version that looks so cool on the hip people :)

I do have a pair I bought last summer and I love them, they remind me of pronounced eyebrows somehow... Don't have them at hand to share a pic as I am travelling.

They also came with that great case, my only worry is the little cleaning cloth might slip out even when button closed so I've been reluctant to actually have it dangle.

@Mikab How cool! Good travels! Would love to see them when you are home again. I was surprised they had some interesting models, never paid that much attention to them.

I think when the cloth is partially under the glasses, it should not fall out?

I love the brown one you choose! Looks so elegant!
I tried that black one, whose pic I attached in store and loved that one, too. So chic, but liked the crazy design of the inflated mask more for a change, as I already had a similar classic one at home!

@fettfleck Yes! And I wasn't sure at all just seeing them in store but once I tried them on I loved the relaxed something different vibe. Honestly could have bought both black and brown pairs, but now my mission is to see the newer releases (def try on yours...)

@Mikab, same with me. But I find with sunglasses you never know until you try it on! There are some very cool pilot style sunglasses which always look so cool on other, but unfortunately not on me… :oh:

@fettfleck So true about trying things on to appreciate the overall effect and look. And I'm the same with the aviators! I'm loving exporing the more playful and individual accessories especially after so many years of focussing on having a decent work/corporate type of wardrobe. Definitely sparking joy :)

They're surprisingly lighter on the face than I was expecting, given they're somewhat bulky. I love the darker lenses, great for sunny days. I'm not sure if I can pull them off every day, but I can tell they will be a go-to for any time I need a boost of fun.
