Am afraid this collection is likely to be a complete bust for me. FOMO ordered the M sized pixelated tee on
Loewe's website (the largest size available) and the jeans in FR40 on Vitkac. Went into the store today as our SA held the size 38 jacket for me to try, and then also tried on whatever sizing was available instore for the RTW:
- the hoodie was only available in S and was way too tight (almost failed to get out of it and needed my partner and our SA to help me out of it). And the cutting was very unflattering for men (fair, since the entire collection is for women).
- the knitted tee was only available in XS and clearly too small, so didn't try on
- the pixelated tee was too short for me even in L, so the only chance I can get it to work is to see if the XL fits (ordered one in XL on MF once I reached home)
- the silk pants was only available in 36 and was too tight for me. I could get it on but it was not a practical size at all
- the jeans was only available in 34 and totally too small, but most importantly too short and it's very flared. I don't think the size 40 will fit me either - it will probably fit me in the waist but may still be too short and too flared for my liking
- the jacket in 38 was too small, but more importantly because it's a lady's cut, the jacket is extremely short and doesn't sit right on me. It may work in the largest size, but apparently no stock will be coming in after this
- the puzzle bag is gorgeous but alas, it's in satin calfskin and the wrinkling was too visible around the pixelation print, to the point that it really bothered me.
It's a lovely capsule collection but I have a feeling I may end up empty handed... sadly.
