Hi all! I am so torn between these two lovely totes. I love how versatile both can be by pulling the ties to change the bag's size. I am wanting to use the tote for work, gym, and overnight stays. I quite enjoy how unique the Loewe tote looks, but it's almost twice the price of the Celine. Which one do you prefer and what are your thoughts? And for those who own either bags, what are your experiences and thoughts for the bag?

note: the Loewe tote is from their FW22 collection so it’s smaller than the XL that they previously had

We have the XL Flamenco and it's a lovely bag BUT is a puddle of a bag. It's probably harder to use as a work bag without a bag insert if you like your bags more organized.

Thank you for your insight! How are you liking the quality and the design? I love the uniqueness and versatility of making it smaller. Since I am petite, the bag would land at my hip due to the strap drop. The Large one from Loewe's new season is a bit smaller than XL.

Quality is impeccable and the design is unique, but I think the full leather ones feel a lot more luxurious to be honest, because you can really feel the suppleness of the leather vs the jacquard version. We don't use it with the drawstrings pulled because it makes the silhouette a lot more feminine (we are both guys). Also as its shoulder carry only, loading the bag out can make it harder to carry. It's not as "bad" as the neverfull since the straps aren't as narrow but it still weighs down on the shoulder.

Update: I ended up ordering the Celine but in a size small instead. I realized that the versatility of turning it into a vertical tote and a bucket bag might work better for me. The Loewe one will have a soft spot in my heart though :heart:
