So, I love the new suede and would have loved the runway Paseo in the suede which is not produced.

Now I am considering the large elephant bag in that suede material…

Peeps whos own the large elephant bag: how do you like it? Is it usable or just fancy and is it daily use friendly?
My minimum size for daily use is the medium puzzle. Smaller bags are useless to me.

I appreciate any reviews and opinions! Thank you!

I have the large elephant in brushed suede, and it’s really cute! I am thinking of returning it though because it doesn’t fit as much as I thought. Despite the size of the bag, the base of the bag is quite small, and you can only fit things that fit into that base. I can’t fit my ipad 11inch and can barely fit a standard paperback book.

It’s also quite bulky when you carry it crossbody/shoulder, so I only carry it on my hand. If it was a bit more practical I think I’d like it a lot more.

We have two of these in different colorways (Apple Green and Hunter Green I think they are called) - it's a cute bag but really really doesn't hold a lot. It is essentially a bucket bag with a lot of excess leather around it, so the true capacity is limited. I can only fit a wallet, an iPad mini, a very small water bottle and a couple of other knicknacks and that's pretty much about it. Because of its odd shape there is very little "give" when it comes to being able to squeeze in more stuff, and the capacity is probably actually a bit less than a small puzzle bag. We usually wear it crossbody but this "deflates" the side of the elephant that presses against your body, so it may look a little deformed when carrying crossbody (though it always pops back to the actual elephant shape). I would not pay retail for this bag honestly - both our bags were obtained at a discounted price (mine was a new one from Mr Porter that somehow priced it about SGD$1k under retail, and my partner's was a new but pre-owned piece bought off Vestiaire, also about SGD$1k off retail).

@danstyles and @despair Thank you both for your opinion! I haven't been here as work got crazy, but I appreciate your review alot! I think I will steer away despite me loving the suede. It is such a beautiful bag, but as I love bigger bags, I think I just would not use it that much. Thank you for saving me some money! I will better look into bags which fit my lifestyle better (I am eying the Squeeze...).

@danstyles Did you end up keeping it? So gorgeous, that bag...
