Needed some retail therapy yesterday and ended up with two sets of lovely ippolita earrings! (got my turquoise fix ... much more reasonable than VCA and almost just as pretty!)

18K YG with turquoise and rock crystal. :D

LOL I know Candice... was waiting for my doggie to get out of surgery and couldn't find anywhere cool to go yesterday except Holts... oops!!! (good thing I stayed out of Tiffany's!)

Yes thank you nc.girl! She fell down the stairs and dislocated her hip ... she's a 12 year old golden and because of her age and some nerve damage it was literally touch and go as to whether they could operate or not. "Not" meaning... you know. :( It was so horribly stressful... I initially wandered around the stores just to get out of the hot hot vet clinic (it was 100+ degrees in Toronto yesterday!) and I ended up seeing the ippolita counter (didn't know there was one in Canada) just after finding out that she was okay'd for surgery (yay!)... didn't put up much of a fight, I was in a bit of a stupor from crying all morning and so relieved! She's out of surgery now and doing great - will get her home on Sunday. :) :)

Awww, I'm so glad to hear she was able to be operated on, and that she'll be okay!!! I know you'll be glad to have her home again too! :smile1:

I can totally understand what you were going through, and you most definitely deserved a little "retail therapy" after handling such a stressful/emotional situation!

aww poor baby! my family has always had newfoundland dogs, I completely sympathize with you. it's horrible seeing a pet you love so much age and get bad hips. I hope she's feeling better soon:hugs:
