Listing error

I created a new Ebay account because my dad wants me to sell some stuff for him and I wanted to keep the fees separate so I know what to charge him
Anyway, when I go to list the items, it says
Error: No seller account.
I use Turbo Lister through Ebay to list. I got the same error with Auctiva. I've searched the help listings and can't figure out what I need to change.

Can anyone help with this?

Once you register, you still have to set up a seller account. Did you do that?

I went under the sellers tab and there was an option to start a new listing but didn't have anything about starting a seller's account.
