List of BEST clinics for jaw reduction / v-line surgery

OMG I am in love. This girl had fc, fg, eyes and nose done at Jewelery. She has gone from a 시골 처녀 peasant woman to a stunning swan. Yes 4 or 5 years ago there were pictures in the press about surgeons having a party while a patient was under but I am sure they have been reprimanded and have cleaned up their act in order to stay in business. This girl had her ops in December 2017.View attachment 4044709
I have never heard of that clinic, and a party whilst patient was under?! I can't believe that..
Her results are nice though ^^

Please reconsider going to DA for surgeries. They have done many botched jobs and they give discounts for those who write reviews for them like an advertising method.

Thank you for the info! There are many paid promoters nowadays so it is sometimes difficult to tell which clinics are truly reliable
Although I don't want a nose job, if they are unreliable, then I would not want to go to them for any surgeries..

There are many clinics in Gangnam area~
As I have seen from the website or magazine,
ID, Wonjin, Regen, Cinderella, TL etc.
You may search for those ~
This has been said before on this thread, but please don't consider ID, it is a plastic surgery factory and has many problems..it is not worth this risk
I have heard that Wonjin is also not reliable
...but I have seen good things about Cinderella (although they are not specialist in facial contouring really) and TL

oh....thought would be good choices ...even for my lifting surgery with big clinics....thanks for good info. maybe good to search for more clinics with good surgeons. For surgeons, any info???

Hi guys, although I'm new here I've read many pages of this forum and thought I'd write about my experience so far. I travelled from the Uk to Seoul for my jaw reduction surgery with JK.
My operation took place this morning with Dr. Kim and I was told everything went well and I will be discarged tomorrow.
My main concern was sagging skin with this procedure but after the Dr examined my scans he said that my bone structure was wide but I had a lot of muscle in the lower region of my face that made me look like I have a very square jaw.
So in my case they've shaved some bone but also removed quite a bit of muscle so sagging should not occur or be minimal. I'm hoping this is true, it might also help that I have not had a reduction done on my chin or cheekbones.
The pain at the moment is not too bad, when I woke up from the surgery it was much worse. I also don't have any bruising under my eyes at all.
I'd be happy to send you my before and after pictures if anyone is interested, but this will only be after my bandages are removed.

I'll keep you all updated on my recovery.
If anyone is in Seoul later this week or the next do let me know

I was interested in Regen for FC until I read someone in the forums here saying how they will close soon (the clinic) and any post-op care/ check-ups with doctors after they officially close their business. There was also the note of suspension for Dr. Oh Myung June from the korean association of plastic surgery website which makes me anxious to go there :/
I heart it too.

Hello sorry for hijacking thread sort of but I really wanna know more about this "minimal incision" or "behind ear" technique of jaw reduction. Clinics like cookips and iwell have it on the website, it seems very appealing because it looks safer and less time consuming.

Basically what it is, is instead of making incision inside the mouth and shaving jaw from there, the incision is made behind the ears. Am curious as to how it exactly works and if it can be done on severe square/flat jaw because it seems weird that the doctor would be able to cut that much bone from behind ur ears lol. Anyone who's gotten it done info would be highly appreciated.

I haven’t looked into this myself but am a little curious if it would be safer. I was interested in lower salivary glands removal through a small incision behind the ear and was told by a few surgeons this is a risky procedure, and does not give the surgeon a good view of the glands or jaw line. So most will only do this along with a facelift where the incision is larger. I wonder if the same issues apply to operating around the jaw and chin...unless you mean just the square-jaw portion of bone close to the ear is contoured.

apparently an endoscope is used to see into the incision... I don't think it'll be that small as well, probably around the size of a facelift incision? some of the webpages indicates that they employ a "long curve method" (shaving off bone from the jaw angle up to around before the chin area). This means they should be able to see that deep into the jawline right?

It does seem to be more "chill" as opposed to the intraoral method (i.e:convenient time and recovery wise - not general anesthesia, 30min surgery time and less swelling) but as to safety and efficiency re: results... I'm not so sure, bit skeptical tbh. I sent cookips a message asking for more info hopefully they'll respond lol

I do hope its a viable method since I've been looking for an alternative to the inside mouth method, as I don't really desire a drastic jaw reduction and it seems risky to get the jaw cut from the inside as well..

I would not go to DA based on my bad fg and GA experience.

Try looking at the face dental, EU dental and Regen for jaw surgery.

This thread is helpful and hope to hear more recommendations soon! My top clinic right now is Face Dental.. so many positive reviews but I can't tell if they are promoters or actual reviews  I'm DEATHLY afraid if jaw reduction surgery but I really want it, as long as I find a good, reputable clinic. Anyone can comment on TFD and if the reviews of them being good are actually true and represents the clinic??
