Hi ladies,

I'm thinking of purchasing my first Links of London Sweetie bracelet and was wondering if it would actually be cheaper to purchase it in London since it's FROM London.

They are currently selling it for $225 in Canada, a friend of mine bought one from a store in Woodbury Outlet in NYC for $220 USD. Anybody bought one from London? If so, do you remember how much it was?

No worries! :)

I think Links is also at some of the other airports...if you google where you are flying out from they will should list the duty free shops. The price will be £130 - 17.5%

Thanks for the tip! Btw, is it complicated to get the tax refund?

No, not at all. You just ask for a form in the store after you are done shopping, they'll calculate how much you should get back and you fill the rest in. You then take the form to the VAT refund counter at the airport..

Oh that's perfect then! I just have to make sure I ask for the form after I shop! Thanks for all these great tips!!

Links of London bracelets are so much cheaper here in the UK. I'm sure I've actually seen them for £110 but I'm up north. I'm actually going to london on friday so I'll keep an eye out to see if there are any which are cheap.

Just be wary of shops which are not big brand jewellers as there are a lot of fakes around at the minute, and research a shop if you're not sure.

Thanks for keeping an eye out =) I'm probably going to be purchasing from the actual Links boutique versus random shops off the street because I don't want to end up wasting money on a fake.

^ If you are going to be doing a lot of shopping you can try and get your bracelet from the same place (such as department store) that why you'll get a better VAT refund.
