Linen and leather bag

Ladies, (and gents,if applicable??!!)

I am eyeing this bag at QVC. Does anyone have any experience with D&B's linen? I have had the cabriolet bags but never linen. I like the looks of this for spring but wonder how the linen looks,feels and performs. Thanks!!:smile:

I had this bag for a minute, but sent it back. Had no trouble with the woven linen, but the strap doesn't stay on your shoulder very well. There is a leather version if this bag which has good reviews.

Also, please be aware that the underside if the strap is unfinished or raw and a lot if the women were not happy with this

Thanks,gatorgirl, I appreciate your input. I am fervently looking for a green bag for spring and am open to any input. This one just looked a little different. Maybe I will google linen and green leather handbags.!!

Hi Gerry. I believe that bag was a "TSV" a while back and it was very popular. If I recall correctly, it was offered in a leather version and the linen. I have not had that particular bag, but I have owned Dooney linen bags and they hold up really well.

I'm sure you know that QVC has a liberal return policy, so you might order it just to see what you think. Good luck and have fun shopping.

I have this bag in the white leather with the tan trim. I love it in leather. I had another style of Dooney linen bag and it did not hold up well at all and I would not get another of their linen bags. The linen bag I have is in my "to be sent back to Dooney as a trade" pile.
