I like cross body bags, Which one is better? Lindy mini or Kelly Danse? Please share your thoughts. thank you!!

I don’t own either but I think mini lindy is better as cross body bag. The strap on kelly danse is quite long so may not look as flattering when wearing cross body.

I’m dying for a kelly danse though! Good luck deciding and let us know

I owned a kelly danse but it wasn't practical enough to use. I ended up using it with the kelly canvas shoulder strap. I'm not a Lindy fan, but the mini is TDF.

I didn't particularly like the original bag strap. I couldn't find a way to put it on shoulder. The double turn around the waist wasn't stiff enough. Maybe, at the end, I also didn't really like the shape (squared)

Thank you so much for your feedback! Maybe I should reconsider Kelly danse too. Was thinking it could be an alternative to kelly retourne but maybe not quite......

Hi, I just bought my second Kelly danse, I love it for when I want a more casual look to a B or K, but want a strap thus was limited by my Kelly pochette. I have bought an alternate strap (sangle) to change the look a little as well, and use it more as a shoulder bag or cross body.

I will vote for the Lindy mini. Kelly Danse is clumsy and although the concept is cute, I find it not so practical

I’d go for the Mini Lindy. The Kelly Danse is a bit too fussy for my taste.

Mini Lindy. More practical for carrying daily items and I like the style better as a cross body compared to the Danse

If you are looking primarily to wear your bag cross body, then go for the mini lindy. Kelly Danse takes a little while to get use to cause your can use it in so many ways. Wearing it cross body with the straps it comes with can be either too long or too short (double looped). In my opinion, you would need to use a different strap to wear it cross body comfortably. I have both and love both.

now that i own both i thought this might help for those trying to decide between both styles. The mini lindy, while super cute and roomy, can look a bit bulky crossbody (i think someone on tpf mentioned that they felt like they were wearing a tissue box on their hip and i couldn't help but laugh bc i feel the same way @ times). the kelly danse is more flattering crossbody once you figure out the length by playing around with the strap and creating a faux top handle (or by using a completely different shoulder strap like others above have mentioned). i also think the danse is easier to dress up or down...cleaner silouhette imo.

Extra point to consider is that the Kelly danse is easier to travel with. Super compact and nice to use for casual occasions. I don’t use the original strap since it just doesn’t work for me. Too much fussy like all the ladies mentioned before.

Mini lindy it’s a full bag kelly Danse is an adapted (spin off) bag in my view
