Food Lightweight cast iron pan?

Is there such a thing as a lightweight cast iron pan or is that an oxymoron?

I would love to cook with an cast iron pan but I don't have the arm strength as I used to (neither does my mom). Are there lightweight cast iron pans out there?

I've seen some that are lighter than others, such as the very old ones. I'd look at a TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc.

You have to be careful with that though - they could crack. It's best just to get a smaller cast iron pan than a thinner one. I have three in different sizes.

Thanks for the suggestion of a smaller pan, I want one without the nonstick and season it myself.
