Light Gold Hardware on Black Classic Mini

I just received 21K black rectangular (classic) mini with light gold hardware. When I opened it, I thought that I received silver hardware by accident because the CC turnlock looks silver. I know that the light gold can look like silver in some lighting. However, the main issue is that the CC turnlock is lighter than the chain. I have several CF with LGHW and the chain of the mini matches exactly the LGHW that I have, but the CC turnlock of the mini is lighter than the LGHW that I have.

It's not that obvious in the pictures, but it's pretty noticeable in real life. I hope that I'm not hallucinating nor crazy. Sometimes, Chanel can make me a crazy person . Do you think that the hardware color is normal to a black mini in all collections or it's normal to this specific season 21K or it's a defect?

Looks normal to me. I just received the identical bag today as well. LOVE IT!

I had the exact same reaction when I received the black square mini with lghw today and even texted my SA lol then checked the tag and was like “oh”. The CC looks slightly more gold once you take the sticker off.
I think we’re luck to have gotten the mini during this crazy time!

Mine looked the same, when you take the sticker of the CC it looks exactly the same. I was not a fan of the light gold hardware on the mini, I prefer darker gold so I let it go. But the mini is pretty nonetheless

I took the sticker off the CC and you are right.... it is much lighter than the chain. The chain looks gold... the turnlock looks light gold to me. I however don't care. It is only noticeable upon close inspection (and bc I read this thread)... My quilts are so puffy and even and the bag is just gorgeous! I wore mine out already! Did you keep yours?

After taking off the sticker on CC, I still think that the CC turnlock is lighter than the chain. After comparing to my CF with LGHW several times, I still think that the CC turnlock on mini is still lighter. However, as you said, the 21K black mini has puffy quilts. That's why I got it and I'm keeping it!

I had the same reaction when I got mine back in June...but I believe it’s still lghw because I have a shw mini and I can tell there’s a difference.
