I got tired of spending so much time guessing which bag was where so this is what I did: I'll spare you the whole album, but, you get the idea:)

That's a great idea! I've done that with shoes but hadn't thought about handbags. A good reason to get the laminator out and use it...

What a clever idea! I'm still trying to find space for all of my girls! Figuring out which bag is which is something I will have to work up to.

My beauties have taken over my bedroom, and lately my collection has grown daily. They're Coach Kudzu!

Thanks for the tip and photos. I think I will end up doing the same thing.
I was so frustrated from having to open dustbags to find the one bag I wanted, that I had taken off all the dustbags so I could see what I had easily. That was so much nicer, but the bags are prone to scratching from the hardware on other bags, so I put all the dustbags on again.
What I do now is store them by color, and that seems to help.

Great idea!

I am not that organized. I bought a little cube storage unit for the top shelf of my closet, about 36" x 11". Up to 8 tiny bags go in one cube, 2 ramblers in another, ironing stuff in another, and bigger bags lined up vertically on top.

Less frequently used bags go inside of bigger bags (which are also used less frequently).

I have a variety of dust bags so I try to match the color of the dust bag (brown, black, beige, white, gray) to the bag color as much as possible.

A few grab & go bags are hanging on hooks on the sides of the coat closet and main closet (not in dust bags).

Pics of all bags are on my iPad so I can plan ahead.

When I plan my outfits for the week, I hang them on hooks on the wall of my dressing room/guest room, along with the bag for the day. Sometimes I keep the bag in its dust bag and hang the dust bag from the hook in front of the outfit.

Sounds complicated..... :-s

The only bags that are in dust bags are my pinnacle bags and I carry not so frequently. I have a couple purse organizers at the top of my closet. I purchased a large case to display them all in but it needs to be assembled and we're moving to a new house this year so we haven't tackled it yet. Presently, the bags I interchange frequently are hanging on wooden hangers in the closet so I can readily see them.

I used to have all my purses out on three shelves of three IKEA Billy bookcases, but I wanted to switch it up after the new year and display my vintage My Little Pony collection instead. I put all my Candaces and Duffles at the top of my closet in their bags. Instead of photos I just wrote down the bag and color on an index card. I have a photo somewhere...

My Haleys and Mini Tanners are still out, though. And that's Phoebe and a RomyGold bag hanging on silver Command hooks (5-pound).

I like that and all the colors look so pretty :)
