I've been looking for a new bag that was lightish in weight, subtle but not boring, and capable of being used for work purposes as well as on the weekends. I just graduated from college in May and started a full time salaried job a week after graduating at a large nonprofit organization so I also wanted something that would celebrate my graduation/new job and purchase with my new income.
I searched high and low and was never really sold on any of the ones I looked at. The Saint Laurent Sac de Jour in croc that I initially ordered from Nordstrom came damaged and even so, I just didn't love it as much as I thought I would - plus it was pretty heavy. Brea GM didn't wow me even though I loved the idea of a long strap plus the bag handles. I looked at the Mulberry Bayswater and wasn't convinced. I have a mono Neverfull GM which I love (but wearing monogram at my job wouldn't be appropriate) but DE/DA NF GM didn't call my name either.
But finally something came onto my radar...
