Isn't almost everything popular a recurring trend, to one extent, or another?
I find it's best to ask yourself; 'Will I like this for the next few years?', not; 'Will it look 'right' forever?'.
As I've said before (and as I'll no doubt say again! :shame:
), even the items dubbed 'classics' are more, or less, popular at different times; or are tweaked, from time to time, to make them look more current.
Animal prints are more popular during some decades than others.
Despite the fact that they've been 'in' for a few seasons now, until fairly recently, many people had a slight bias against them (in the UK, at least). I think we're beginning to overcome that now, which is great!
I'd keep it!
