Leo et Violette or The Curated?

Hello!
I am looking for a great Celine Classic alternative in smooth cream because even though I loved the one I had I ended up selling her because of the annoying metal clasps on the strap.
My first choice would be the L&V Nova but I keep on reading awful things re their hardware which seems to tarnish very quickly according to the few reviews found on Reddit and on YouTube.
The bag from the Curated also seems great on pics but some mentioned the not so great leather quality (stiff and heavy).
I would like to hear from people who own one or both.
Which one is better in regards to hardware and leather quality?

It seems to be heavier than the Celine box.

I wasn't aware of the tarnishing on the L&V Nova so thanks for that info.

Have you looked into the APC Grace?
