leather soles

does anyone have any tips to protect shoes with the soft leather/suedeish soles? I know they don't usually last as long...and is there anyway you can get them replaced?

Ask your cobbler to put on a protective non slip sole. It's a very common procedure.

and before wearing them in wet weather make sure you've worn them alot in dry weather----the scuffing will build up to help keep water from absorbing into the leather.

you can get rubber put over the bottom of the leather soles. not to worry, you can also get them resoled if you like them leathery.

They are small and you can stick them in the middle of the soles.
