  1. I noticed that leather skirts seem to be pretty popular this fall. I saw a few leather skirts that I thought were nice, but I do not know if I could pull it off.
I am in my mid 30's and do not know if a leather skirt would be appropriate for me. I also am afraid that I would not pair it with the right top and end up looking like a hooker. Have you bought a leather skirt, or will you be buying one this season? What do you wear with it?

  2. I don't think I will buy one, but I still have two or three in my closet and might pull them out. I am 42 and think it can look appropriate all depends on how you style it. I would definately dress it down, opaque tights booties but with leggwarmers... longer sweater worn over a t-shirt etc...

  3. I bought a faux leather tube skirt (same thing, right? lol!)
And i took inspiration from the Olsen twins on how i wore it. I am generally not a huge fan of them myself but they DO know how to rock a leather skirt, haha

I bought one in Ann Taylor Loft yesterday that is amazing. I am short, so it hits me a couple of inches above the knee. It is super soft, slightly bell shaped and has a comfy slightly stretchy waistband with a cute oversized hook closure. I was amazed by the leather and it is one of the best made ones I have seen. And all for $128.

I will be wearing it with a plain or ruffled white buttonfront, a neutral cashmere sweater or my black cotton button front with a small floral design (one J Crew's floral shirts). I will wear opaque tights and ballet flats.

  9. Less is definitely more. I love a loose slouchy white or grey top tucked into a high waist leather skirt

  10. leather will mold into your body after some time....that's the only think i don't like about it.

  11. I'm dying for a leather skirt... with side pockets... love this look!
