Kate Spade Leather handbags

Hello - how durable are the leather bags? Thinking of getting one, would be my first leather handbag. What happens if it gets wet? Is rue la la a good priced place to get Kate spade?

I have not had any problems with my KS leather bags. My leather wallet is on the 3rd year now and still in very like-new condition. My other KS bags too, so to me they are very durable.

They've never got into the rain or liquids other than plain water though

It depends on what type of leather and how you're using it.

I think Rue lala prices are kind of high. There is a good sale right now on the Kate Spade website. Everything that is on sale is an additional 25% off. The saffiano leather bags like on the Maise are the most durable in my opinion. Mine have been in the rain the they look fine when dried, the water just rolls off. Some of the softer leathers may be harder to take care of but I have a lot of Kates and they all hold up well.
