Leather - epsom or evercolor?

I just purchased a Bolide and my SA told me it is epsom. I don’t own an epsom so don’t know how it should look or feel, but I do know I love the leather of my Bolide.

I just checked the receipt and it says the leather is evercolor. Should I go with what’s on the receipt or what my SA (who’s very experienced and knowledgeable) said?

Doesn’t make a difference to me since I looove the leather but just want to know.

Hmmm, that definitely looks like Epsom to me! Hopefully others can give their opinions as well..

Why don't you go back to your SA and point this out.
There should not be a discrepancy.
Perhaps your SA will be able to show you examples of both.
Even if 'it doesn't make any difference' to you, you did raise the issue
and it would be good to be confident in what it is.

She may have scanned a different (evercolor) barcode at checkout by accident some way or another; hence, the receipt.

I think it may be worth bringing up — at minimum, there may be a price difference between epsom and evercolor (I would check the price thread first, lol).

Regardless, it should not affect the after-sales care of your bag (i.e. spa), as it is bought in the store/authentic which is most important. The receipt discrepancy would not affect this.

Exactly what I was thinking, they won't be the same price. Yeah double check what's more expensive before you go, lol!

Agreeing with others, check prices. Epsom is usually in the lesser-expensive range.

I agree with everyone that it's Epsom. If you love the leather, then it's all good, but if it were me I personally would ask to see the Bolide in Evercolor

Thanks all! I just checked the price guide on bragmybag and it matches what I paid — US$8350 for Bolide 1923 30 in epsom. But I’ll text my SA and see what he says (I bought this in Hawaii while on vacation but I left already).

Update: SA confirmed it is epsom! It is apparently a known system error that they're working to fix.

This is my first epsom and I love it! I'm surprised at how supple it feels because I always thought epsom would be stiff.
