I’m Dan a UK based leather designer / crafter and I love making bags. I have been browsing this forum for inspiration for a long time and just wanted to say thank you to you all for sharing your knowledge and photos of your beautiful leather goods.

Hi Dan! I'm hoping to get into the craft as a hobby soon. I'm so excited to get started. Did you do any courses or books that you would recommend to a complete novice. How have you found sourcing items such as high quality leather and hardware based in the UK? It's a all a bit daunting when I've researched, almost dont know where to start! Any advice?
