Le Noeud ring - for which finger ? Help me decide

Good morning to you all.
I skim these threads almost daily for 2 months and just fell in love with VCA the past 2 years. I began to buy not preloved jewelry October 2023 (yes it took time as I really needed to think about what to buy). I really thank you all that post threads and pictures because it helped me so much (no stock in the pieces I wanted) and I value your opinion. As I don’t have so many friends to share my jewelry passion ❤️‍🔥.
I arrive at one time in my “journey” where I really would like a special piece. Maybe for Christmas / birthday 2024. There are a lot but seeing tones of pictures here I fell in love with the ribbon 🎀 ring so called Le Noeud. I asked my SA and could try it on yesterday but as it is 49 size it only was possible to put it on the twinky 5th finger 🥺.
I just ordered my first 3rd finger ring (the BTF RG frivole ring) and will wait to see how it is to get a 3rd finger ring. I have all my rings for the 4th finger. But for a so taller ring and a BTF ring I thought it would be more special and seeable on the 3rd. Again I don’t have pictures yet as they seem in the Boutique to get only 49 size rings to try on …

Well the question today is for which finger do you think I should go ahead with the Noeud ring ? It is so beautiful I really would like to wear it 3-4 times a week.

Some things I thought for myself :
- I have 53 size at my 4th finger with VCA VA rings (52 a bit too tight but I still have one old and is ok)
- I have 59 size at my 3rd finger (I know it is huge … 😮‍💨)
- I have 60 size at my 2nd finger (but wouldn’t like to put the Noeud at this finger as it will be on the side and then in the space between the 1-2 fingers)
- I don’t have children but a niece I would like to give my jewelry at the right time : she is Asian and very tiny so I think all my rings won’t be ok for her (well maybe for the 2-3rd finger if I buy for myself a 4th finger ring). But still she could resell and buy another one so it shouldn’t be the decisive point for my choice.

So help me decide please 🙏🏻. Thank you

I say this with love -ignore all thoughts of your niece. She may want to sell, it may not be her style, etc.

I’d go with the third finger, as it’s the longest, but will also look beautiful in the fourth. It’s a jaw dropping ring.

I have this ring! It is gorgeous and I wear it a lot. I think it looks best on the ring finger. I wear mine 50/50 right hand ring finger or left/right pointers. My pointers are chubby so the ring is loose on ring finger but it is so heavy that there is no chance of me loosing it from it slipping off. You could go for larger size and have more options and use a silicon sizer for smaller fingers. Try some rings at Vca in your sizes to see how it feels. The band is double width so you may even need a larger size than single band rings - depending on your fingers.
I would get the correct size for you and assume your loved ones will sell. I chuckle at my daughter using a food scale to see how much gold is in my pieces for pawning off some day.

Did you take your normal pointer finger size for yourself or a larger size? Or did they try for your ring a size measurer with a large band to be sure ?

Do you know if they do the same ring but opposite direction as the picture I have (mirror design)? Because I clearly will wear it at the left hand and the one I tried on my left hand has a bigger side going toward the 5th finger and the smaller part toward the 3rd finger ; I would prefer the opposite direction (so I would have to wear it the noeud toward my hand and the ribbon side toward the fingers to do so with the left hand)

I also love this ring and wear it on my ring finger (4th). As @lynne_ross mentioned, the band is larger so I would also recommend going up one or 2 sizes for the finger you decide. I wear a size 54, purchased a 55 and it fits perfectly, although I'm sure a 56 would also work well. I do recall that this ring was only available up to a certain size when I placed my order years ago. I'm sorry, I cannot remember how large they were able to go, but that may be a consideration for sizing your second or third finger.

What a stunning ring, I always love seeing it in pictures here!
I think the middle finger might look nice as it's the longest finger and able to carry such a large ring.

I got it in my largest pointer size as it is my biggest finger. The ring is tight and hard to bend my finger when it is hot here but I just put it in another finger at that point. I typically wear it on multiple fingers through day - as I do with most my rings as I like to play with them.
Also I wear the bow upside down on my left pointer so it does not stick up. It looks pretty either way.

I like this ring on both ring/4th and middle/3rd finger. On the ring finger it'll look more whimsical whereas the middle finger is more elegant and flattering since it's the longest finger. I'd go for size 59 if I were you, and just use those silicone ring adjuster on days when I want to wear it more snug on the ring finger. Does size 59 fit both of your middle/3rd finger comfortably? Usually the fingers on our dominant hand are slightly bigger, so another thing to consider since this ring is simply stunning and I'd love it to be as versatile as it can be for you to treasure and enjoy for many years to come
