Hi all, I’m debating whether or not to return my new Le Cagole XS in white. I love the edgy look of the bag, but I’ve read about some people’s negative experiences with their Le Cagoles, specifically, with the shiny leather coating peeling off. For those of you who own the Le Cagole, would you share how the bag has held up with wear and tear? Have you experienced any issues with peeling?

Ive had no issues with peeling but my strap broke. Balenciaga have had it since the start of October, had put me completely off but i do love the bag!

Oh my goodness! What kind of breakage was it? Was it the leather strap breaking into two parts, or a stitching error, etc.? How often did you wear yours?

The grommets popped off, nothing overly dramatic but i never used the strap that broke ( always cross body). I didnt wear it to often, maybe 2 days a month, so not a lot of wear! Other than that, the leather is lovely and no other issues.
I bought the bag on farfetch and they have offered me a credit note for it as balenciaga is taken an age to repair it, and i really don’t know what to do!

I know, their customer service hasn’t been the best, my bag broke in September and it wasn't picked up to halloween. It should be an easy fix, not something that takes 2 months!
I contacted Balenciaga by telephone then they emailed me asking for pictures and proof of purchase. After about 2 weeks they involved farfetch, who have been excellent keeping in touch etc
