Laura Mercier Lip Glace, Please Help!

I recently received a sample of Laura Mercier lip glace in Baby Doll (Nordstrom sent it out in a mailer). It was so pretty!!! Subtle, natural-looking, moisturizing, with just the right sparkle. But then I read the ingredients. It's full of stuff I can't pronounce and don't know what it is - like what the heck is polybutene? I googled for it and it's some sort of plastic?! Another ingredient is propylparaben which I know we're supposed to avoid because of the link to cancer. So where can I find something as pretty and luscious but a little more natural in terms of formulation? Please help! I'm thinking of breaking down and buying this lip gloss because it's so pretty, but I don't want to put all those chemicals on my lips!

Update: I went to the health food store and tried quite a few and ended up buying three: a Hemp Organics lip balm, a Logona lipgloss, and another one I've forgotten, but none of them was quite right. Then I went to Sephora and at the recommendation of the SA there, tried Bare Escentuals lip gloss. I thought it was great until I had a look at the ingredients. So I'm still looking...
