Anyone have one they love or tried hers?
I don’t wear any foundation and prefer not too, but if you can still see your skin through it, I’d like to try for events where photos will be taken.

I used to buy her stuff all the time as she was a prominent feature on QVC or HSN. Same with Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals. I actually preferred the latter until Leslie sold the company and as is so often the case the new owners reformulated the line and not for the better. I tried IT brand also. Hated that one
The LG was ok, as I recall. It's been years since I wore powdered foundation. I finally reached the age where it was doing me no favors. I switched to sheer liquid or tinted BB creams.

Thanks! I have a bronzer and I like it. Every time i try and use a tinted moisturizer or something similar it seems to "sit" on my face and I can see it. I hate that so I've never worn any.

Have you tried bare minerals? I know a lot of ppl that love it.

I tried Laura Gellar’s baked bronzer but it was years ago. I’m sure her formulation may be better now.

I love Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer. But you may think it sits on your face? It absorbs into my skin nicely.

if you're at all open to a liquid or cream product, using a beauty blender (or similar sponge) might make it better so it doesn't seem to "sit" on your face

If you use BM powder you really need it to match your undertone as well as depth/lightness in skin tone as I've seen some women look terrible either being to yellow or alternatively ashen.

@Swanky their stick is fantastic though, especially in Summer. Dot it on sparingly, just where you need, gently use you fingers to blend, it lets the skin show though, it's cooling and very easy to blend. Only draw back is its little quirk, you can't build it up, one layer only.

Otherwise, just use a stay-put under-eye concealer like, L'Oreal Paris Concealer Infallible Full Wear (very, very sparingly, a little goes a long way) blend all the way to the edges of your cheek bone to avoid the 'half circle look'. Take your usual face concealer and just go over any blemishes, dark shadow or discolouration (if you have). Wayne Goss has a video that does full face with just concealer.

I have the Laura Geller balance & brighten baked foundation. It's my favorite mineral powder foundation (and I used Bare Minerals for years). It's very easy to apply, I like the coverage - which you can build from sheer/light to medium/full, and it has a nice satin finish. I also have her fuller coverage powder foundation (double take, I think it is called), although I have not tried it yet. The LG site often has sales, so if you're looking to try it out, keep an eye out.

I wear porcelain in the LG and the color match is pretty good for me (I am MAC NW15, Chanel BR12). I bought "fair" and it was quite warm-toned, so I save it for summer. I apply my concealers first, and then use the LG with a large fluffy brush, just swirling it onto my skin until I get the coverage I want. I do sometimes wear various primers underneath it, but I don't think you necessarily need that. It wears through a full day for me, and looks natural even at the end of the day.

I found it far easier, faster to apply, and less of a learning curve than loose mineral foundations, including Bare Minerals. For me personally, Bare Minerals almost always required a primer underneath, and there was a very fine line between "it looks great" and "cakey/patchy." IMHO powder foundations can look more natural and skin-like than liquid or creams. I know that seems counterintuitive, but I've found it to often be the case. Powder foundation can really "melt" into your skin in a different way. Shelbey Wilson has a lot of good YouTube videos about powder foundations and how to apply them, which might be something to watch. I do think Bare Minerals foundation is an excellent product, and I still wear it occasionally.

Another powder foundation you might consider is the La Prairie Skin Caviar powder. I often wear that one as well, and I find I can apply it even faster than the Laura Geller with a similar technique. It has what I could call a luminous-matte finish (not a flat, dry matte) and it can be built from light to medium coverage. It wears incredibly well and lasts all day. It does have a light fragrance, if that's a consideration - the LG does not. That and the LG baked balance & brighten are my 2 favorite powder foundations.

I ordered balance and brighten foundation and bronzer. I think bronzer is beautiful and works great for my skin tone. I really like the foundation but need to try it with some primer or setting spray. It wasn't extra long wearing for me but I like estee lauder double wear, so it's probably not fair to compare them. Coverage was really good, nice satin finish. Overall I was happy. I actually ordered shade too dark, called them and they send me lighter shade for free and let me keep darker shade which I gave my mom
