Travel LAS VEGAS tips - questions - advice!

i stayed at the cosmo last time i was there, with balcony fountain view. i was rather disappointed in it tbh, the view was the only good thing, the room was not as nice as the wynn or venetian/palazzo. bellagio is next on my list to stay at. helicopter through the grand canyon would be fun. i rode horses through the mountains (red rock canyon), which was lovely and great views. i like hash house a go go for breakfast, grimaldi's for pizza (better than the secret pizza in the cosmo imo). nobu is good for a splurge. yardbird was good for southern comfort food.

Where is Grimaldi's?? DH is a pizza freak so we always love trying new pizza places.

I haven't tried Grimaldi's. We rent a car whenever we go to Las Vegas. We recently tried "Those Guys Pies" when we were in Vegas. It was featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Great pizza and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches

Where is Those Guys Pies?? Not a cheesesteak fan, but always a pizza fan!!
Also, my best friend was an Alphi Phi at San Diego State - president of her chapter at one point but couldn't tell you the year. 99 maybe?

Long story short back in October I bought tickets to see Cher in Vegas in February. My friend just found out she can't get time off from work. I still want to go but slightly nervous about vegas alone. I was there last month for the first time and loved it but I was with a friend. I have traveled a lot solo especially throughout Europe but I don't know vegas seems more of a place to go with people. I was thinking of either staying at the Bellagio or Aria and going for 3 nights. I don't go clubbing but I do enjoy Blackjack. Will it be weird for me to go alone?

the city is so anonymous that you'll just be another person hanging around. people are usually having such a great time no one will focus on you at all, lol. lots of shopping, lots of eateries, just sit in a casino and people-watch, and etc. even people who travel to vegas together often split up. it's not a place for couples or anything, those destinations can feel weird... vegas, no way... it's an easy-do alone. done it many times alone. and cher is great - i saw her about two years ago in my city, it's a great show

I have started at Aria many times. It's a great place to hang alone! Nice bars, spa, food. I always make a few new friends!
