Good morning,
I am going to shopping at the Las Vegas store next week, and I was wondering:
  • If someone would share their shopping experience at that store.
  • If anyone had the name of a wonderful SA?
  • If any tpf'er had advice on successful shopping?
  • If someone orders a "standard" Birkin, how long of wait can be anticipated?
I am planning on ordering my first Birkin bag : ) and I am so excited, I can hardly wait.;)

I shop at the Vegas store but mostly by phone. Shopping experience is hit or miss; for me it depended on who was helping me when I went in. As for ordering a birkin, you may get the standard "waiting list is closed" response if you've never shopped there, but again that depends on who you talk to. It never hurts to ask and you may get lucky! Have fun in Vegas and good luck!

Maya, you would have better luck in waiting for your new Cherry Creek store to open, IMHO. Or buying from a reseller. Established customers (especially in the Vegas store) are not often offerred the opportunity to order a birkin. It would be next to impossible for a new customer to do so. Each store has only so many bags they can order (and the number is shockingly low).

You give great advice! The problem is that the Cherry Creek store may or may not open--they took down the Hermes sign, and have not started construction...

So you caught me hedging my bet in Vegas!!!

Hmm...sounds like I better start getting friendly with resellers!
