Larger bags that will hold your iPad and the rest of your stuff

I don't have an iPad. But I have a 13" Macbook that I tote sometimes (and it isn't the air so it is way bigger).

It fits easily in my MK Hamilton, N/S. Along with everything else I might want:
scarf, wallet, pouches.....power cords...

I also fit it into my new MK Selma (although it doesn't zip, it is off by a few millimeters, and iPad would be fine.

And 2 of my Coach Kristin bags, both satchels types with crossbodys. One is larger, one is smaller:

I am pretty sure an ipad would also fit in my MK Jenna:

And a Furla hobo I have.

If your daily bag is very large with few pocket inside, will you select a handbag organizer to organize your daily accessories?

I think that will save your time to find your phone, key, pen, tissue, perfume etc.

I don't use a purse organize, but I do have a few pouches and wristlets to organize a few things. Also, I have a few Michael Kors bags and they have anywhere from 2 to 4 slip pockets on the sides.

Hi, I'm the gal with the Roma (above)

Just noticed a new Bottega Veneta bag. It is a version of the Roma with a - gasp! - detachable shoulder strap!

At $3600 retail, it is not the cheapest option. However if you are considering a BV bag and have an i Pad, this is just great.

I used to have this problem- realized every bag I considered buying had to pass the "can I fit my iPad in" test.

My bag collection started veering towards large totes and hobos, until my husband got me the iPad mini!

So rather than getting a new bag, why not get a new iPad!

In direct answer to your question: The bag I use most often when carrying my iPad (but not my macbook) is my Chanel single flap maxi. It's the perfect shape, allows me to carry it in multiple ways, and I don't feel like it's flopping around (like I would in a larger bag/hobo).

I have to say - I love reading this thread. I mostly carry around my laptop (13" macbook air) and/or my iPad and am constantly on the look out for bags that work for me. I try not to buy a bag unless it's big enough for my macbook (or an evening clutch).

Keep the suggestions coming

I have a Nook HD+ (the biggest one) - same size as an Ipad. My current bag is a Coach medium Candace. It holds the Nook in case, large cosmetic case, large wallet, phone, and a large sunglasses case (large Versace clamshell), with room to spare.
