Hello all - I am contemplating getting one of these two necklace as a push-gift. I was able to try the guilloche, and it was quite versatile and beautiful. I like you can wear is three ways with the chains at different lengths and also double up. However, I’m equally drawn to the lapis Noel piece, which is more rare and require pre-order. Personally, I think the Noel piece may preserve value better. Love to hear your thoughts!

Fifth Ave had one lapis Perlee necklace for ~$2700, and a same one is listed on eBay for almost $8k. It’s totally absurd, and I’d love to know what the seller is thinking…

Congratulations! I find the RDN line very beautiful, but be aware that they are somewhat fragile. If you want a piece you will be able to wear often on the next few years, it would definitely be the magic pendant of these two. I'm not sure if you have children already, but they will grab anything you have on and try to put it in their mouth or yank on it, or spit up all over you with no warning or just drool all down your shirt. I have a baby and I need to bring a change of clothes for work after I drop her off in the morning! I have been wearing my all gold and pave pieces nonstop. On the other hand, the years fly by, and if you love the lapis, you will be wearing it more eventually. Just be aware that with RDN you have to be careful in handling it, storing it, how you set it down and pick it up, because the way the petals are set are a bit delicate.

Great point! I think the guilloche likely will be the push gift assuming the baby comes out all healthy! I did feel the lapis will be sitting in the jewelry box for the most part and hard to match clothes too. I tried the onxy one in store, and it definitely wasn’t for me. I thought the VCA lapis one would be a good item for collection, but I’m still at the stage of looking for pieces to actively wear.
This will be my first! I hope she is not going to eat my guilloche for breakfast! Lol

Thank you!

I think this is a good plan! Sending you congratulations and best wishes. I think if you wear it on the short setting you will be ok. If you wear it long she will definitely grab it. I am doing battle with mine now as I try to pump and she goes at me with ferocity with all 4 limbs, trying to dislodge the pump tubing. I am using both hands to restrain her and now she is trying to eat my knee
I have been wearing my VA pave pendant and VA bracelets nonstop since they are washable, not very grabable, can be worn 24/7 but still allow me to show up at work wearing some jewelry. I put aside my bangles for now since the hard edges may scrape her. Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy and delivery.

I saw this (perlee lapis pendant)in the window at the boutique in SF and bought it the other day. Not sure I’m going to keep it as I’m not sure I bought it because I love it or for its rarity. Thoughts???
