Just got my large soft Borough bag today and am wondering if it is too big? Any of you ladies have one? I would love to hear your thoughts on the size and whether the leather softens up enough so the bag becomes a little less structured. I love the bag but am not sure of the size.

I have the large soft borough in olive. Gorgeous bag and great smooth leather but sorry to say. It is way too big for me. It eats me up and i carry so little that my things get lost in the bag. I haven't used mine but it already looks slouchy and soft. Not at all structured like the regular large borough.

I am afraid it might be too big for me too but I love the look of this bag! If the leather starts to slouch I am thinking it will look a bit smaller. Does your bag look smaller now that the leather has started to slouch? Really appreciate your thoughts on the bag!

I posted in B club, but wanted to add that If you google - "large coach borough" there are a lot of pictures of celebrities and fashion bloggers with the large size.
Pics. sometimes help me decide whether to keep or not,:smile1: good luck with your decision.

Hi,
I should also mention that i am only 5.5 ft. Unfortunately, the slouching does not change how big it looks. This bag still scored within top five ranks for me but i just don't know when I'd need to use such a huge bag.

I brought the bag back to the local Coach Outlet store today. So sad! I did realize, though, that the bag was just too big for me. If I were still working I would have kept the bag but it's just too big of a bag for me to use as an "everyday" bag. It is a stunning bag and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great work bag or a dressier bag.

Don't worry Debbie97439.. you did the right thing. I am notorious for not returning bags don't work for me. I am very glad you are not like that.

Thanks for the support DaisyOrange! I am also notorious for bringing back bags that don't work for me or selling them on eBay. I love bags and only want to keep the ones that I will use. I may invest in a smaller version of the Borough. It is such a beautiful bag!

I see you already returned your bag, but here is my insight for others who have this dilemma.

I'm 5'2 and have a large soft. It is definitely big for daily use but I find it perfect for work. It holds a book/notebook, lunch container, iPad, cardigan, and my daily items with ease. It does get pretty heavy, but that's fine for transporting to and from the car. I've had the bag for 4-5 months and it has still retained its shape.

I would definitely not use this for weekend, but it is pretty functional for work or even an overnight bag. Definitely think you did the right thing for your lifestyle. I hope a smaller size version works out for you! It really is a beautiful bag. :)

Agree this is an awesome work bag. I think I will try to find a smaller version of it. It is such a beautiful bag.
