I wish that the wedges were sized more generously. I have pairs in 41 that fit like a glove, but I find so many wedges on eBay for size 40... I wish that one difference wasn't so significant for fit. I have a pair of wedges that I wish-wish-wish I could fit, in a size 40...

Count me as a part of this thread! I am a US 10, but I have long toes, which makes buying CLs difficult for me, since I usually can't wear a 41.

I am typically a 41.5 or 42 (in booties or narrow shoes):

However, I found the Fifi to run large (I have the lace ones) and they are a 41.

In wedges (Miss Boxe) I am a 41.5

VPs, HPs and other open toe styles, I tend to be a 41.5 or 42 (because I have finger toes)

I have other styles, but I am a solid 41.5 in those.

Since my feet are flat and large, 42s are my best friend -- though I did buy a few size 41s in November.

For some reason, in Very Jaws and Greissimo with the ankle tie I am a 41, and there's no toe overhang.

In Cotton Club, Privatita, Hai, Turbillion, Rolando, Declic 42.
Bought a pair of fifres in 42 that are just too darned tight for my toes.

Hi Moon Welcome!

Thanks so much for your measurements they are very helpful! I would love a pair of Bananas in a pretty spring color like green but I need to learn how to walk in 140's first...

Cheers.
No worries.

I found the insole measurements to be most helpful in determining if a style would fit, remembering to add for the degree of point in the toe box.

I'm struggeling a bit with sizing. My feet are swollen at the end of the day so at 8pm it's soo hard to wear my VP's, but in the morning I've major heel slippage. My VP's are 40.5 and my declics 41 (I've got the same problem with them).
When I bought my declics last week I needed padding because they we're falling of, and now I can't put them on without being in real pain

Am I buying the wrong size or am I crazy?!

Hi there!!! This is a great thread!

I can take anything from a 40 to a 42 depending on style, so here goes......
I take a 40 in Pigalle 120 and a 41 in Pigalle 100 and Pigalle Plato.
No Barre, VP, NP, VN and other sling styles in 41.
Altadama (patent) and Simples and HP 41.5.
Rolando and styles based on Rolando in 42.
I have Ron Rons (patent) in 42 but probably should have got a 41.5, had Bianca (patent) in 41 but could have done 40.5

I have a major problem with boots due to high arches and bigger calves so would be really interested on peoples experiences with boots both short and long. Have managed to get Alti Bootie and Nitoinimoi on and zipped in 41 but prob would need 42 for comfort. Obviously different materials and heel height also come into play to, although not in any real logical order, often higher heel = smaller size but not always hmmmmmm confusing, makes buying online a complete minefield.

This is off the topic of large CL sizes, but here is goes:

Neither.

Feet/leg swelling has to do with how hydrated/dehydrated you are, how much salt you have consumed (even if you do not add any to your food it is still in processed/packaged food), water weight gain/loss with fluctuation of hormones, and how long you sit and/or stand during the day.

Things to try: consume more plain water each day, cut sodium/soda/pop/coke intake, lymphatic massage, compression pantyhose/stockings, walk/move around 5 minutes for every 55 minutes of sitting at a desk job and/or elevating the feet/legs during a break if standing during most of the work day.

Please does than mean i need 41.5 in HP?
I tried VP 42 and it was big so i guess 41.5 would be ok.
And AD 42 was too big and 41 was too tight so 41.5 would be ok
Pls help before i pay for another shoe that wont fit:confused1:

41.5 in HP sounds about right to me since it's usually the same as AD. Anyone else want to chime in?

Hi Ladies,

Thank you all for contributing to this thread, it is greatly appreciated! Soooooo I went to NM in King of Prussia and it was a BUST! they ddin't really have any of the Spring shoes so I couldn't try them on so I was kinda bummed....

But I plan on making another trip to DC in a few weeks so hopefully they have some larger sizes for me to try on... :crosses fingers:

Again, thanks Ladies for contributing! :)

Banana is the same last and length/last as the Bianca though (although since the Bianca is closed-toed there is less give obviously).

I tried Banana Patent in size 41 and it was ok.
But i didnt like it cos too much of my toes was showing.:nogood:
I think Greissimo in size 42 would be too big because of the way it was cut.
(there are somany 42 on Ebay.com
I think Greissimo is made for ladies with wide foot.
Greissimo need to be tried on first before you buy them cos you would be surprise that a 40.5 might even fit.
Banana and greissimo 41 was ok for me!

please on a different note, has any one tried YSL tribute pump 105 or Tribtoo 105?
Pls i want to buy one but not sure on what size to take.
Any info would be helpful please!
