Hello All,

So I asked Jet if I could start a thread that would assist us larger sized ladies in finding shoes, sizing advice etc. It's not to impose on the other threads but just give us a place we can go to directly to get information since it's not a lot of us and some of us for various reasons can't try on the shoes in the store.

To help with that I was thinking we could start off with a format so that we could become familiar with each other sizes and our recent purchases just in case we may have a shoe that another TPF member is interested in....

So please add on as you make your purchases or ask questions about sizing advice. Also, even if you don't wear these sizes and you see a deal please post it here, it would be appreciated!

Shoe Size: US Size: 10 (feet measures 10.5)

Most Current Purchase: Indian Suede VP (new sizing) size 41 also recently tried on the Bianca needed a size 42 and the Pewter Metallic VP (new sizing) needed a 41 as well.

Looking For: Anything I like on sale, lol no seriously I'm always on the hunt for the Red Declic (120mm) in a size 41

Hi there,

I'm ideally a 41 but I am able to fit many 40.5 as well I hope that I still qualify.

I have many recent purchases. In 41s I bought a Tinazata, Contente OTK boots, Chi Chi Pump, Superwoman boots, Python Areilla Talon boots, Tre Francaise pumps.
In 40.5 some recent purchases have been MBB Candy Spiked pump, Coussins, Vizir & VP Spikes.

I also bought some 40s including my Ambertinas which are supposed to run big & my python NPs.



I have lots of CL shoes but not many classics. I'm happy to help anyone that I can help.

Right now I'm on a ban but if it is a sale on on shoe in my size I feel obliged to get it.:laugh:
I'm all about trying to find the Misfit in my size right now before I do something drastic :shame:

Hey City,

Thanks for posting! My feet vary from shoe to shoe and it's kinda difficult to get sizing advice so reading what other large sized ladies wear in diff. styles makes it easier to determine what size I should get....

Great thread! I am the same size as you in all that you've posted, except 41 or 41.5 in Bianca and Bibi. I think you'll need a 41.5 in Declic too though, maybe 42 (mine are 42 but they are old declics - are the new declis more generous?).

For wedges, which stop at 41, I find that a 41 eventually molds enough to my foot that I can get away with it.

Yeah, I was assuming that I would be a 41 in the Bianca but when I tell you I couldn't even get the front part of my shoe in I was like ummmmmm nope! lol I tried on the old Declic so you are prob. right with the sizing as I haven't tried on the new Declic's yet...

Thanks sooo much for the info on the wedges, there are a few cute pair on ebay that I had my eye on but wasn't 2 sure about the sizing...

Finally! :yahoo::happydance:I am so happy that this forum was set up. Although I am not on here as often as I would like, I am glad to see that someone saw the need. I am usually a 41 in most CLs, but can sometimes do a 40.5.

Most recent purchase: Lady Claude Leopard Ponyhair Peeptoe in 40.5

Looking For: Currently on a ban until I lose my last 15 lbs; but if it's too good of a deal to pass up, I will go for it. (Still want the Coral Bananas)

thank God for this thread! I´m a european size 40, US 10 I think.

I wear a 40 in the Pigalle!
a 41 in the declic 140 ( a tad big but nothing a pad can´t fix)
a 41 in the Alti 160 ( minor heel slippage but 40.5 was too small)
a 40.5 or 41 in the Banana...the 41 is a bit more comfortable in the toe box where they´re cut pretty small and I don´t have the most narrow feet.

I cannot believe you needed a 42 in the Bianca, I thought they run TTS?!? Oh my...I´m eyeing a pair size 40.5, but now ummm not so sure.

And the greissimo I want as well, should I try a 41?

I tried Bianca 41.5 nude yesterday in Geneva and it was to tight, my feet could have cut into two.The left feet could not even go in.
I think i have a normal foot for a size 41 but my feet is wide so it is difficult for sizes. I do not think Pigalle would suit my feet but i am eyeing the Pigalle plato.
I even tried Lady peep 42 and it was ok but i think 41.5 would suit me best.
Pls anyone that has tried the Greissimo multi damas, please i need your help before i waste money in purchasing and it wont fit!

OMG, trying on those Bianca's were the worst lol They were soooo uncomfortable, I don't think I'll be buying a pair but I'll continue to admire all the ladies that rock them! :D

I would def. try the Gressimo in a size 41.5 and see how they feel. My feet are a little forgiving when it comes to peep toes.

Yeah I would try the 41 since you said you don't have wide feet. I think that's a problem with me as well my feet aren't narrow and my toes are long. :(
