I love the large Marcie.
Now, it all depends if you are about following trends or if you have style of your own.
To me the Marcie is a classic, which is why it keeps coming back every year. It fits very well in boho, western/south-western/texMex, beachy/costal, small town/prairies chic/country chic, urban eclectic etc. styles. IMO.
I don't think it fits a corporate or urban *sophisticated* vibe.
Also, you always have the option to not care about anybody's opinion.
I don’t usually follow trends. I love boho and wear a lot of free people. I already have the Marcie crossbody in the brown color I’ve had it for years and still wear it. I just wasn’t sure about this style. It’s a classic for sure I think.

Also, I like buying off-season. Everybody is still into armpit bags, rectangular flaps etc. Big bags are only beginning to pop their noses up. It is a great time to buy now before they completely come back. And who knows, after "quiet luxury" "recession core" or whatever trend cycle we're in now, maybe boho does come back.
You'll be ahead of the curve. If not, well you'll still be in style as far as you are concerned.

Yes, very romantic.
I have the Chloe Paraty and still sometimes wear it. I know it is completely "out of style" but it is such a beautiful bag (I have it in deerskin leather) that I still want to wear it sometimes. I think the Paraty was popular for awhile but it is even less popular than the Marcie, which seems to have coasted on a little bit longer.
If you love it, it will look stylish on you. Also, it does say that you have been luxury shopping for quite awhile and not aren't nouveau riche.

I have 2 Paraty and I want to buy a new one 😍I love this bag and for me it's not out of date at all, I think it's magnificent and very current, I have 2 Marcie too and I think the same for them
This. I love my Marcie (Medium) and it will forever fit my style - trends be damned. Plus, I live in Austin, TX.
But it really does fit both my vibe and the vibe here - which are different.Now that I think about it, if I had to pick one bag in my collection to keep and the rest are gone tomorrow, I think my Marcie would win out.
It is a beautiful and relevant bag today and will continue to be, so people continue to buy it. If the Marcie fits your style, wear it in good health.
