Large Belly Veneta Mod Shots

I recently purchased a pre-loved Large Belly Veneta in Ebano, and there were some requests for mod shots. For reference, I am about 5'-6 1/2" tall, and let's just say both my bellies are well-rounded!

These first few shots are shown with the bag completely empty. Other shots with contents in the bag follow in my next posts.

Next shots are with my typical daily bag contents in a bag organizer, which holds my ancient Coach wallet and key pouch, freebie Clinique cosmetic bag (lipstick, small hair brush, and medicines), Celine sunglasses, earbuds, charging cord, phone charger for the car, tissues and eyeglass cleaning cloth. I also use this insert in my Cervo Medium Totes. There is still plenty of room to add more, but this would be all I carry most of the time.

These last images are with the bag almost completely full. I say "almost" because I could feel a couple of void spots in the bottom corners. I added an iPad Air, makeup bag with brushes, a very OLD long umbrella (I keep a more compact one in the car), and a cardigan sweater. The bag really bulks up here. When @grietje said this bag can feel like a tire under your arm, it's definitely true at this point. I doubt I would carry this bag with all these contents, but it illustrates the capacity and potential bulk.

@Evergreen602, I think the hobo looks lovely on you. And the photos do justice to the bag. Yes, I see it’s a newer bag so it’s got a bit of the stiff/tire thing going on. But you can also see the potential in what it could be like once it softens from more regular use.

As beautiful she is unfortunately I'm going to return, as my chubby arms makes it awkward when shoulder carried. It's lovely handcarried, but looks to oblong on my short frame.

The pink bag (in Flamingo?) is the quintessential and probably most popular/recognizable Tomas Maier-era Bottega Veneta bag. The Belly Veneta had pleats in the corners of the bag giving it that “tire” look.

Sounds like you might want/need something with a longer drop on it. Good news is there’s lots to choose from
