how do you store your lambskin minis? is it best to lay them down or stand them up?
I have mine lightly stuffed but standing up in its dust bag with the chain outside of the dust bag.
im worried about creases at the bottom of the bag as I commonly see it on lambskin bags but don't want the quilts at the back to go flat so not sure what's best. TIA x

I also store all my Chanels -including my mini- unstuffed, standing up in its dustbag with chains inside, felt between flap and bag, lock closed. @cclover95 What exactly do you mean by creases on the bottom?
I have a square mini- what can happen??? :frown:
If you look at the right hand corner there is creasing. This is a new in the boutique bag so im not sure if this one was stored incorrectly or if it happened when being made but it looks similar to this.
You get creases in the corners and sometimes along all of bottom quilts (looks like a line running all the way along) usually from it standing and being unstuffed for a long time.
It’s strange because I know loads of people who store them standing some unstuffed who have no issues and it’s been that way for many years. On the other hand people do it and it happens with in a year. Happens to both lambskin and caviar too.
Not sure if its the varying leather quality as to why it effects some people and not others does anyone else know?

Oh I see… :amazed:
Good to know. I might have to adjust my storing.
Thank you for the detailed explanation. To me it looks like the weight of the bag (flap, chain) could cause this over time. So I am baffled that this is a brand new bag.
