Lambskin Flap Owners: Zipper Indentations?

question for lambskin flap owners: does the inner flap of your bag get indentations from the zipper on the inside of the outer flap? do you do anything to prevent this? thanks!

I put some felt or tissue paper underneath and wrap the straps too.

It happens. I do put felt between the flap and zipper when I store it. It's not that noticeable but does anyone know how to prevent it from happening?

what about when it's in use? the outer flap presses against the inner flap when you have the bag closed so the zipper dents up the inner flap. does anyone wrap the zipper or something when it's in use so that it doesn't make indentations? i noticed it happens on the caviar flaps as well but it's not as noticeable as with the lambskin.

Yes, it's common and there's really no fool-proof way to prevent it. Just be sure, as the others have mentioned, to store it properly.

i was thinking of discreetly wrapping the zipper with felt or something soft (while using the bag, not just for storing). ha ha. anyone try that before or something similar?
